11/14/08 - So it begins..... Get the new Fray single Friday 11/21! 
08/16/08 - Mixing is the word for the next month. A new album from Chris Mears formerly of Mellafone (one of my favortie artists out of the UK). His new band "New Volunteer" has a new LP I will be mixing. A cool band out of Australia called "The Grove" with a new EP. Also recording and mixing acoustic versions of The Fray's new songs from the new album. Summer is almost over :(.....football is almost here :)!
07/25/08 - So I know it has been a loooong time, believe it or not I have been working on the next Fray record since February. I kind of lost myself in the record for the past 6 months. I can happily report that it is now done!! And it is really...really good. Not just saying that either...all will be pleased. Thats the good news, the bad news is I don't think it will come out until December or January because of label scheduling. So ya'll will have to wait a minute. But look for the single to drop sometime in November. I added a blog that I am going to try to keep up with through all my projects. I hope people enjoy!
01/05/08 - I am mixing Torture Sermons record this month. Then it is off to Fray land to start the recording of there next record somewhere on the west coast. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
10/18/07 - This month sees a flurry of kick ass music starting to blossom. I have started pre-production for The Fray's next LP, due out next year. NYC based band Torture Sermon is in AJJA Studios starting their new full length.
9/1/07 - Working up a little page for AJJA Studios here on the site. I have brought my good friend Chris Johnson on the team. Chris is going to hold down AJJA Studios and work on cultivating new artists for the AJJA team. If you want to book time in the room with Chris you can email him through the Studio link. Dan Zellman is in this month doing some center section upgrades to the console. I am waiting for my kid to be born before the Fall starts, going to be busy but totally worth it. Good music coming!
6/18/07 - I am not trying to turn this into a Bi-Annual update, just been a crazy year so far. A few things I will let you in on. The band Meese is breaking out as I always knew they would. One of the songs we finished last month is now hitting hard on KTCL in Denver, look out for them on tour with my Fray boys this Summer. Speaking of the Fray, what can I say...at 3 Million worldwide I think those guys are on their way. We are already gearing up for the next album, very excited about it, I will have more info on that later in the year. I am happy to announce that I have brought Bennett Kaufman on board the AJJA team. He is my Manager now as of last month, and I couldn't be happier. Studio is rolling now, the SSL is sounding great. 1/1/07 - Awww...a New Year! The second half of '06 was very busy, and it is rolling right into '07. I have almost completed my new studio in Manhattan, I have 3 new artists I am working with that I love, plus a couple of big projects are coming down the pipe. The Fray keep rolling... "How to Save a Life" has sold over 1.7 Million copies now, two Grammy nominations have been given to them for both singles, and there is no sign of stoppage....
9/16/06 - The Fray's debut album "How to Save a Life" has been certified Platinum by the RIAA for over 1,000,000 album sales. A cool video on The Fray
6/10/06 - Latest updates...The Fray's "Over My Head (Cable Car)" has gone 2xPlatinum as a Digital Single. The single has broken the TOP 10 on the BB Hot 100. The second single "How to Save a Life" is on the BB Hot 100 as well now. The album by the same name has been certified Gold, is now 26 on the BB Top 200. Meese has come out with it's debut LP called "Our Album Year" check them out here. Brick is now out, go here for theaters with the movie. I just finished some Live mixes for a great band called Cartel out of Atlanta, the mixes are to be married to live show video. Their album "Chroma" is out now through Epic. I finished mixing Katie Chastain last week, artist out of Boston, very eccletic good stuff....
3/19/06 - Been awhile since an update. I got married! There is some news for ya. Brick (Focus Features) opens on March 30th, I mixed all the music. The Fray continue strong, 102 Billboard Top 200, number 5 on Adult top 40 radio, charting at 37 on the Top 40 chart. New single "How to Save a Life" on Greys Anatomy. "Over My Head (Cable Car)" goes GOLD with single sales....
1/26/06 - The Fray on Jay Leno Feb. 8th. Hit 80,000 units in fourth month. "Over my Head (Cable Car)" Number 16 on Billboard AC Top 40 and climbing. Number 14 Mediabase Hot AC. Top Ten on Billboard Heatseekers (on chart for 19 straight weeks now). Added to NYC WPLJ....
1/07/06 - This month Aaron is producing NYC based "A Brief Smile" (Bowery Ballroom Feb. 22nd); mixing Patrick Meese's next album (Denver); mixing Katie Chastain (Boston); and a documentary film's soundtrack composed by China Kent....
1/04/06 - The Fray hit 65,000 in it's third month. "Over my Head (Cable Car)" Number 21 on Billboard AC Top 40 and climbing. Number 4 on R&R Triple A. Top Ten on Billboard Heatseekers (on chart for 16 straight weeks now)....
11/3/05 - Brick's official trailer (with music) is now up at Focus Features site. Trailer in theaters now. Brick nominated for Independent Spirit Awards (JOHN CASSAVETES AWARD). Click here to view the trailer...
